The Honeycomb or Lace Mask is a comfortable, porous lightweight frame that holds and seals a disposable activated carbon filter. The carbon fabric plus 2 inner layers of filtration material reduce exposure to indoor and outdoor pollutants: fragrances, particles, cigarette soot, smog, dust, diesel fumes, formaldehyde, and household chemicals from 50% to 95%, depending on the substance.
When not in use, the mask and filter may be hung to dry if damp, then sealed in a bag. If the taste or smell of pollution comes through, or you feel discomfort in your chest, it is time to discard the filter. How long the filter lasts depends on your sensitivities and environment.
Washing
If you are sensitive to fragrances, wash the frame before wearing to remove any residue from manufacturing.
The Honeycomb or Lace Mask is washable in cool water with unscented liquid detergent or dissolved baking soda. Rinse. Blot with a towel, then hang to dry before inserting a disposable carbon filter.
Do not wash the filter, discard it.

Honeycomb Mask: Nylon, polyester, cotton, hard plastic and latex-free elastic.
Disposable filter: No coconut. Activated carbon is bound to a polyester support material with a modified acrylonitrile copolymer latex (a synthetic latex which does NOT contain the protein of natural latex, the cause of allergic responses).
Warning
Remove mask immediately and seek fresh air if breathing becomes difficult, This product does not provide oxygen nor replace industrial respirators for hazardous work and is not suitable for use in toxic gas areas or against asbestos, silica or spray paint.
Keep away from fire. The binder will release noxious fumes on burning.
It is the customer's responsibility to determine the suitability of application. This mask is not NIOSH certified and is not intended for occupational use.
